Tell about Paperlandmarks
Paperlandmarks Ltd. is the EU based enterprise which operates worldwide. We produce scale models of world famous architectural landmarks. All our products are specially designed and manufactured to meet interests of a real hobbyist. We have been producing scale models for five years already. In year 2000 we opened this online store to deliver our kits worldwide.

What makes your models so unique among others?
Our models reproduce the very form of a particular building, but still they are finely detailed. The cutout windows which are as near as 1.5 mm to each other create a really spectacular play of the lights and darks when placed near or under a light. Such a luminiscent art catches that marvelous form of a building which actually makes it a well-known landmark.

Are the models printed?
Yes, for PRINTED models. The scoring and cutting pattern is printed on the front side so you could easily cut out the details.
No, for PRE-CUT models. All the beauty of our models is achieved by cutouts and folded panes. That easily allows to imagine what the original form of the building looks like.

Are your models hand-made?
No. Manufacturing of the pre-cut or printed sheets is machine operated. By using the precise equipment and tools we can produce high quality end product.

Your paper models look so sold. Are they really from paper?
Yes. We use stiff cardboard (or paper, if you like) which is crisp but durable enough. All folds are half-cut so they are very accurate. Several models have double walls to strengthen the volume and create a unique pattern of horizontal and diagonal cutout strips.

Should I need to cut anything myself, too?
No, for PRE-CUT models. Every cut is already done, you just have to fold panes along the scoring (half-cut) lines and glue the ends according to set-up instructions.
Yes, for PRINTED models. The details should be scored, cut out and glued according to the pattern drawn on the main surface.

Where could I use paper models?
Models produced by Paperlandmarks could be used differently - as decorations, aesthetic collectibles where a play of the lights and darks counts, for studies of form and architecture or just for entertainment - as an ideal activity for kids and parents. Whatever purpose you use your model you will have a great time building it up!

What exactly will I receive? When?
You will receive a package containing either the printed or pre-cut sheets of the chosen model (or models) along with set-up instructions in English. Models are usually shipped immediately from our warehouse in Latvia, Europe. The delivery time depends on the chosen shipping service (for more information see our website section Ordering & Shipping).

Are credit card transactions safe?
Yes, absolutely. Our online retailer CCNow's credit card processing software runs in Secure Mode on your browser, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt sensitive data such as credit card numbers. While selecting products and adding them to the Shopping Cart, you are in Non-Secure Mode. After you press the Pay & Finish button on the Shopping Cart window, you are switched to Secure Mode in order to collect the billing and shipping information.

How to make a purchase?
You can select products for purchase and add them to a virtual Shopping Cart. After pressing on button (next to the price of a desired model), a new window called Shopping Cart opens. Now you can either return to the model pages to add more products or finish shopping by pressing the Pay & Finish button and choosing the shipping options and proceeding to the payment form provided by our online retailer PayPal.

Can I do shopping without credit card?
Beside credit card and PayPal payments we can accept direct wire transfers to our account. If you are interested in this option please let us know so we can give you further instructions.

How can I know that my order was processed?
First, you will see a note on your screen after payment is completed.
Secondly, PayPal (our online retailer) will send one e-mail message to you after the order has been placed.
And thirdly, Paperlandmarks will send you an additional message when the order is shipped. 

What is your return policy?
Within 14 days of receipt of your order you can send it back in an unopened packaging. When the order is received back, we will issue a refund to your acount. Please be aware that we can't refund shipping fees no matter what.
